The World Education Fund
Marcus Mayer is the chairman of the WEF, acronym in english for World Education Fund. The WEF is one of the most daring and ambitious projects for the incitement of the Education, in a global scale. The economic and social development of the nations depends directly of the educational quality of the people. Therefore our first mission of the Fund is to look for conditions to promote the education, from the base up to the specialization, without international borders restrictions.
With the goal to engage people and other organizations in the project, the WEF holds the International Education Society (IES). Generally this department is designed to offer a social area for the organization. In order to differentiate itself of that main purpose settings of the Fund, the IES will have own characteristics. Marcus Mayer's Blog
This traditional web page presents Marcus Mayer's Blog, under the title „The world, seen through a libertarian prism“. Beside own articles, the Blog introduces also relevance texts of third authors. The articles which appear on the Blog are from different nature and concentrate bigger attention upon political, economic and social subjects over Brazil and the world.
Marcus Mayer's order in his blog is to cross the too common politicisation and the superficiality of the public politics. His wish is to stimulate the discussion about global issues and offering new, efficient alternatives for government initiatives. The libertarian slant searches solutions to chronic problems of Brazil and the world, as well as showing the criticism to the populism, to authoritarian forms of government, to the corruption and to the left planned economy.
